Previously Chairman of the Board of Elron, Deputy Chairman of the Board of IDB Holding Corporation, Chairman of the Board of Israel Discount Bank, and as active Chairman of the Board of the Israel Securities Authority, the Israeli equivalent of the SEC.
Prior to becoming Rafael’s Chairman, served as the CEO of Elisra Systems, and CEO of Rafael (1992-1998). Former IAF combat pilot and commander of the Ramat David Air Force base. Holds a B.Sc. in Aeronautics and an MBA in Information Systems Administration from the Technion, Israel.
Previously served as VP and Head of the Economic and Business Development Division of Bezeq, Israel’s national landline operator. Currently Director at CellCom Israel and other companies within the IDB and Elron group.
Previously, Comptroller, and Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Defense.
Extensive experience in founding and managing successful Israeli start-ups. Holds a PhD in Physics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and IMT International Campus.
Holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California.
Extensive experience in accounting, financing and tax. Holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting and an M.Sc. in Finance from Tel Aviv University.
